Malum Opus First Demo

Within the storm-lashed halls of Wraithlight Tower, the art of alchemy is not merely studied—it is lived, breathed, and feared. As a newly inducted apprentice, you arrive eager to learn under a master of the craft, only to find the tower shrouded in mystery. The alchemist is absent, a fellow student has vanished, and the very walls seem to whisper secrets best left unheard.   

This gothic visual novel blends mystery, simulation, and puzzle-solving as you decipher cryptic riddles, experiment with alchemical formulas, and navigate the fragile trust of your fellow apprentices. Your choices will shape both the story and the person you become, leading to consequences that might prove too much to bear.   

As the storm outside rages, you must decide: will you master the forces at play, or will they master you?

Disclaimer (26/05/2025): This is an early prototype showing one of the core mechanics; it does not contain the full storyline of Malum Opus.  The current version doesn't support saving outside of dialogues - an issue our team is working on resolving.
